About Us
Here. Dalton began because two local businesswomen believed that our community is worth showing off. Erika Mosteller heard from client after client in her marketing agency that this town has great stories to tell. So she started scheming about how to tell them. About 7 minutes after Erika pitched the idea to Lauren Sneary, she signed on as co-founder, birthing Here Local Media, LLC in 2025.
With backgrounds in writing, academia, and corporate communications and marketing, Erika and Lauren both recognize the link between storytelling, loving where you live, and how those feelings shape who you are and who you are becoming.
A city is not just a collection of buildings and roads; it’s a gathering of people living, working and creating together. By aligning with passionate individuals who call our community home, we’re poised to uplift and help readers and listeners tap into local inspiration, support, and beauty – right here.
